So, we got a little bit further in the whole "Clark and Lana, AGAIN?" plotline. She's a little sneak, that one. Martha thinks she feels safe there. Clark and Chloe think she's doing some digging into his secret. Lex thinks she prefers Clark's protection over his (even though Lex was MIA). Lana now seems to know Clark would still be there for her, she obviously has some trust issues with Lex (and vice-versa), so the upcoming wedding may be interesting.
I don't know who does the score, but they went a little B Horror Movie for this episode. I guess the plot was deserving of it, what with the "gift" and the note left for her. The whole stalking, snap-shooting paparazzi thing was more funny than scary, but at least that turned out to be a ruse for the .... well, the stalking, snap-shooting security guard. (/spoiler) Much better!
Chloe and Jimmy are back together for now. Which either means he becomes a third wheel or a third teammate. Depends on how much "Jimmy! um, nothing!" Clark and Chloe give him when they spend so much time together. Unless Chloe dies of course. And if she does, it better be real this time. I don't want her dead but you can only fake-kill someone on a TV show a few times before it becomes "we got nothin' else to do!"
Speaking of Jimmy, he referred to Clark as "impossibly gigantic," which was probably the best line of the episode.
I really want to know what the deal is with this baby. I've read spoilers that she has a miscarriage, or at least she tells Clark she did. Wouldn't it be interesting if she lies about it like Kim did on Scrubs!?
Lex: Looks like you’re working out some issues there.
Clark: Just doing a little honest work, Lex. You should try it some time.
Lex: Why start now? My life’s perfect.
